A business plan has clear goals and action steps to get there. A plan shows how to get customers in you door, whether the ‘door’ is online, over the phone, or the one to your garage. For example, in the wedding industry, referrals are a popular way of connecting with customers, and there is a fairly accurate order to what products and services are shopped first thru last.  If you are a photographer, and you plan to get all of your business from your uncle’s tuxedo shop, you are going to fail.
